Goldstyle Limousines Terms & Conditions - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY Hereafter Goldstyle Limousines shall be known as The Company and the person overleaf, and or the person signing the confirmation shall be known as The Hirer. The Hirer accepts responsibility by himself/herself for every member in his/her party and fully agrees to the conditions of hire as follows: 1. All bookings are by pre-booking only and must be confirmed and paid for in full with a non-refundable deposit of no less than £50.00 before it is accepted as a positive booking. 2. The balance is due 14 days prior to hire. 3. In the event of cancellation, any deposit paid would be forfeited. The minimum deposit will be £50 unless stated different. 4. No refund will be given on full payments made by The Hirer if cancellation is made within 14 days prior to the booking date. 5. No responsibility can be accepted for adverse weather conditions (snow, flooding etc) or traffic jams which may cause delay or cancellation of a booking by The Company. A 30 minute grace period shall be established for delays due to bad weather, traffic jams, accident or other misfortune. 6. Whilst ever effort is afforded to the serviceability of the vehicle, the company will not be liable for any mechanical, electrical or material breakdown how ever so caused. In the unlikely event every effort will be made for the immediate repair to the vehicle so that the journey may go ahead or can continue or The Hirer will be transferred to another vehicle/s and any costs incurred will be borne by The Company or a refund given not exceeding the contract value will be made. 7. In the event of conditions 5 & 6 or any other breakdown and/or accident no responsibility will be accepted for messed connections and/or functions however caused. 8. In the event of a breakdown or accident to the vehicle every effort will be made by the Company to supply a similar or alternative vehicle/s at the Company discretion. However, it must be noted that under such circumstances the Hirer will be entitled to a partial refund which will be assessed by the company at the earliest opportunity. 9. The consumption food, food products and such like is NOT permitted in the vehicle unless pre-arranged at time of booking and with express permission of The Company. Any breach of this condition will result in immediate termination of the journey. 10. The music CD’s and DVD’s supplied within the vehicle are the property of the Company and must not be removed. Any removal of any CD’s or DVD’s will be charged at full cost to the Hirer. 11. The Hirer shall be fully responsible and liable for any damage caused both inside and outside the vehicle by the Hirer or a member of his/her party, how ever so caused. This includes incitement to ANY third party which results in damage to the vehicle or its contents. The Hirer will agree to be liable for the retail cost of the repair and the location of the repairer will be determined by the Company. In addition The Hirer will pay The Company a fixed daily rate (determined by The Company) while the vehicle is out of commission for such repairs, plus any further losses e.g. lost bookings etc. 12. The Company gives notice to all passengers in the limousine to take extreme notice of the transmission hump in the centre of the vehicle when entering and exiting and add that the Company cannot be held responsible for any accidents which may occur from persons entering or leaving the vehicle. Seat belts provided, clients own responsibility to use. 13. The Company or representative, i.e. chauffeur, reserves the right to refuse entry to the vehicle to any person/s behaving in a manner which may be detrimental to other persons or the vehicle and its contents. In this event no refund will be given and the Hirer and his/her party may not be transferred to their proposed destination. This includes bad behaviour, excessive drunkenness and abusive behaviour. 14. A valeting charge from £25.00 to £150.00 will be levied through misuse by The Hirer from any food, drink, excess deliberate mess caused by party poppers, confetti, etc, or illness. The Hirer will be charged in addition to the maximum of £150.00 any such repairs how ever caused by the Hirer if the retail cost of any repairs or replacement, etc, may be in excess of this amount to rectify the said damage caused. 15. Any extra requests or alterations to the booking, i.e. additional pick up points, drop-offs, stops on route, change of venue causing extra mileage or time, not made at the time of booking/ confirmation cannot necessarily be entertained, although every effort will be made to meet these requirements providing this does not hinder any timescale set by the customer and/or the company. 16. Once booking is made and deposit paid the price quoted to The Hirer will not be subject to alterations unless there is any deviation from the details of the booking (see condition 15). 17. The Company’s discretion shall be decided by the Company at all times and their decisions be fully binding in all matters. 18. The Hirer is liable for all glassware breakage at a cost of £10 per glass. The glasses will be checked at the end of each hire. 19. Any overrun of time must be paid for at the end of the rental time in cash, (charges set at £25 per 1/4 hour (or part thereof), per limousine). 20. Due to insurance restrictions The Company’s limousine has been designated NON SMOKING, any infringement of this policy will deem the rental invalid, all monies paid will be forfeited and rental terminated immediately. 21. It is a legal requirement that ONLY A MAXIMUM of 6-8 persons may be carried. It is a breach of this contract if you knowingly or otherwise permit any more than 6-8 persons to be carried. The Hirer cannot request additional passengers to be included and must not request the driver to carry more than 6-8. Any breach of this condition will result in immediate termination of the contract. 22. Personal possessions are left in the Limousines at the Hirers own risk. No responsibility will be accepted by The Company for items left in the vehicles. 23. The Company reserves the right to cancel this contract. In the event of this contract being cancelled the Company will endeavour to find a replacement to satisfy the contract in full. 24. In the event of the Company terminating this contract without due reason or just cause the Hirer will be refunded all monies paid. 25. By signing and returning the booking form The Hirer has entered into a legal and binding contract with The Company. |
